AI Engineer – California (Remote with Quarterly Onsite in Irvine)

We're seeking a talented AI Engineer to join our innovative team. This is a primarily remote role, but candidates must reside in California and be available for quarterly onsite meetings in Irvine

In this role, you'll work in a fast-paced Agile environment , developing AI agents that drive productivity and innovation across the organization. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement intelligent solutions using cutting-edge tools and platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy AI agents to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
• Leverage Copilot in Visual Studio and AI Foundry to build and manage AI-powered applications.
• Collaborate with stakeholders in the healthcare domain to tailor AI solutions to industry-specific needs.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries , with a focus on PostgreSQL
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Utilize Azure cloud services to support scalable and secure AI deployments.
• Work with GitHub Queue Pilot to manage and streamline development workflows.

Required Skills & Experience

Compensation : $60 / hr to $80 / hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and / or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
