Neonatal Nurse Practitioner needed in Tucson, AZ Location : Tucson, ArizonaDuration : Ongoing while hiring (6 months to 1 year); 10 shifts per month of coverage needed. Board Certification : NNP Certified with related experience. NRP required. Schedule : NNPs are in-house 24 / 7. Neonatologist is in-house from 8a-5p and on call at night. Shift responsibility : Cover NICU and attend high risk deliveries. NNPs will occasionally help with newborn nursery if they've already seen the baby; however, it's mostly the Neos covering well-baby. Shift times : 7a-7aAnnual Births : 2,000 Average Daily Census : 9.5 in the newborn nursery; 10.8 in the NICUShift Responsibility : Deliveries, NICU, Newborn nursery, ConsultsEMR Type : Cerner, PremiEHR, and TPNNICU Level : IIEQ; 15-bedsLicense Requirement : Must be licensed in ArizonaPrivileges : 60 days, candidates with clean files preferred.
