Job Description

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for diagnosing problems and providing extensive troubleshooting. You will repair and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), and test motors with associated controls. You will also diagnose protective devices such as breakers, fuses, and overloads, and troubleshoot control relays. Experience with instrumentation or the ability to learn these systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose problems and repair VFD’s, PLC’s, motors with associated controls, protective devices, breakers, fuses, overloads, relays, conduit & cable.
• Work with Industrial High Voltage (480v+) systems
• Perform maintenance tasks including PM’s breakdowns, repairs and rebuilds.
• Ensure all lockout-tagout procedures are followed.
• Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes.
• Diagnose problems and repair VFD’s, PLC’s, motors with associated controls.
• Repair damages and defects to equipment as per technical instructions.
• Perform planned preventive and predictive maintenance tasks within schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $70720.00 - $83200.00 / yr.

Retirement Savings : In addition to the above, you have the opportunity to participate in the 401(k) retirement plan. dsm-firmenich contributes an amount equal to 4% of your total eligible pay to your 401(k) plan, regardless of whether you participate. If you contribute to the plan, the company will also match 100% of the first 4% of total eligible pay that you contribute. The company will automatically enroll you in the plan at 4% of pay which will be deducted and contributed toward the plan unless you decline or make another election. You will receive a welcome package from the 401(k) vendor soon after joining the company. Your pay and contributions are subject to plan and IRS limits as outlined in the Summary Plan Description.

Paid Time Off : Your Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues on a pay period basis, with a maximum of 18 days per year, for the first five years of employment. Thereafter, your accrual rate increases based on your service in accordance with the PTO policy. Please see attached policy document for further details.
