Compensation : $400,000 yearly

Responsibilities :

  • Seek consultation with dental specialists, such as pediatric dentists, orthodontists, endodontists, or periodontists when appropriate
  • Examine the patients’ teeth thoroughly using diagnostic tools, procedures, and instruments to spot signs of dental diseases and determine the overall state of dental health
  • Perform work that is in compliance with infection and infectious diseases control standards; office policies and procedures; and safety, OSHA, and MSDS guidelines
  • Oversee associate dentists, dental hygienists, dental assistants, and administrative staff, and communicate with support staff regarding patient care plans
  • Teach patients how to use recommended devices for orthodontics and dental appliances, such as dentures and retainers and educate on the importance of good oral hygiene

Qualifications :

  • State license that is current, unrestricted, and in good standing
  • Board Certified and / or Board Eligible in General Dentistry
  • DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) or DMD (Doctor of Dental Medicine) degree from an ADA accredited dental school, and a Bachelor’s degree are required
  • Up-to-date knowledge of dental standards and guidelines, public health standards, and dental medicine trends and advances is desired
  • Computer proficiency is desired
  • Years of experience working with restorative cases & surgical procedures
