H ow You Will Make an Impact
As an Electrical Supervisor , you will play a crucial part in all electrical aspects of building and maintaining our 42-mile Dune Express conveyor system. The Electrical Supervisor is responsible for adhering to all OSHA and MSHA standards while performing all job duties.
Responsibilities
- Lead your team in safety complying with OSHA, MSHA, and Atlas policies and procedures.
- Work with outside Engineering firms to design new electrical equipment.
- Travel to various vendor locations and for audits and meetings. This will be more so during the design and construction phase.
- Review, understand, redline, and update electrical schematics, drawings, one lines, e-houses layouts, etc..
- Lead a team of field electricians on day-to-day task such as inspections, PMs, trouble shooting, reporting, etc..
- Review and approve time sheets, vacation request, POs and invoices.
- Attend training and certification courses required by the company.
- Developing, maintaining, and reporting on budgets both for OPEX and CAPEX
- Engaging with third party vendors for quotes and lead times
- Comply with OSHA and MSHA standards and annual testing on electrical equipment.
- In conjunction with senior supervision, may plan, staff, and organize field / shop positions.
- Interacts with project management, engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with contract requirements, drawings, specifications, and schedule.
- Responsible for resolving direct report's issues (lack of productivity, safety, quality, work interfaces, rework etc.) as required.
- Assist in obtaining personnel through Human Resources / Recruiting or network (as necessary).
- Assess work completion. Create punch lists.
- Advise senior level supervision of potential problems, work interference, schedule difficulties, etc. Assist in circumventing / resolving such problems as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.Journeyman Electrical License with minimum 5 years industrial experienceMinimum 5 years field leadership in industrial electricalPhysical Demands :
