Pediatric NP / PA - Urgent Care

KidMed is seeking compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner s and Physician Assistants to join our growing team and help deliver high-quality urgent care that's just for kids. We are currently hiring for full-time and part-time positions across our Richmond, VA locations in Mechanicsville, Midlothian, and Short Pump.

About the Role

At KidMed, you'll be able to make a difference every day, every patient :

• Equipment and trained support staff to accommodate patients with acute needs from birth through age 25
• Opportunity to perform procedures : laceration repairs / multilayer closures, I&D of abscesses, reduction of finger / toe fractures, foreign body removal, ingrown toenails, etc.
• Ability to treat fevers from the source with work-up down to 29 days old
• Anaphylaxis treatment and respiratory distress
• Cardiac issues, chest pain, abdominal pain, vomiting, bloody stools
• Genitourinary, Neurologic, Ortho, and Derm
• In-house clinic for : suction, DME, IV fluids, and blood draws, injectable meds, and lab work
• Support for our providers and their patients with direct admits, navigation of specialist referrals for same / next day follow up, and close ties with local pediatric specialists
