Exciting Opportunity for a Neonatologist in Charleston, WV

Join our dedicated team of 4 Neonatologists and 3 Neonatal Nurse Practitioners at a reputable NICU located within Charleston Area Medical Center (CAMC) Women and Children s Hospital. This facility offers a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU with a strong focus on providing exceptional care for newborns in the beautiful city of Charleston, West Virginia.

Job Responsibilities :

  • Provide 24 / 7 in-house coverage at the NICU.
  • Deliver care in a Level-IV, 30-bed NICU with an average daily census of 24.
  • Attend deliveries as required.
  • Collaborate with Pediatric sub-specialists across more than 30 specialties.
  • Participate in the education of medical students and residents from WVU School of Medicine.
  • Option to cover at a nearby Level-II NICU.
  • Commuters and new graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications :

  • Board Eligible (within 5 years of residency) or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
  • WV medical license (or willingness to obtain).
  • 3+ years of experience in a busy Level-III / IV NICU is preferred.
  • DEA registration (must be obtained prior to start).

    • License and Certification Requirements :

  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine - REQUIRED.
  • WV license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED.
  • DEA registration is required, no exemptions.
