Job description

IDR is seeking a skilled Data Engineer for one of our top clients in Plainsboro, NJ! This person will be responsible for supporting the data needs of all the functional areas within the CLO team. Responsibilities :

  • Ability to work within multiple ERPs both on-prem and cloud-based
  • Collaborate with the IT / DBA team(s) to create data pipelines for the CLO team
  • Ensure data pipelines are scalable, efficient, and contain valid data (both content and schema)
  • Maintain reliability and troubleshoot any issues that arise to ensure valid data is flowing to models and reports
  • Function as a subject matter expert on the interactions and aggregation of business data from multiple sources

Top Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree is required in either a Business Intelligence (or related) or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field
  • 3+ years of professional experience working with structures queries languages as well as deep understanding of data structures
  • Experience working with large data sets

    • Nice to Have :

  • Experience working in a cloud computing environment : Azure, GCP, AWS, etc
  • Experience using high level languages : R, Python, Scala, SAS, etc
  • Energy-industry knowledge / experience is a plus
  • Basic understanding of data analytics (modeling, report building, etc.) to better appreciate the larger process impacts
