  • Location : Spartanburg, SC 29303 (South Carolina nursing jobs)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Cardiac Critical Care Unit (CCU / ICU)\n
  • Contract Length : 13 weeks (Start : 1 / 4 / 2026 – End : 4 / 5 / 2026)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour night shifts (19 : 00 – 07 : 00)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1630-$1750\n
  • Patient Ratio : 1 : 2\n
  • Call Requirement : 2 calls per 6 weeks\n
  • Weekend Coverage : 3-4 weekend shifts per 6 weeks\n
  • Unit Size : 10 beds, adult patient population, average daily census ~9\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (South Carolina or compact state; pending license considered)\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent ICU nursing experience (2 years preferred)\n
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required\n
  • Experience with Epic electronic health record (EHR) system preferred\n
  • Previous community hospital or acute care experience required\n
  • Must pass Cardiac Dysrhythmia and Moderate Sedation competency tests at orientation\n
  • COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical / religious exemptions considered)\n

    • \n\nICU Nurse Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU / CCU\n
  • Manage advanced cardiac and medical critical care cases, including ventilator and CRRT patients\n
  • Perform and assist with procedures such as arterial line management, central line care, and chest tube insertion / removal\n
  • Administer and titrate cardiac and vasoactive drips, emergency medications, and blood products\n
  • Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, ABGs, and hemodynamic parameters\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams including IV therapy, respiratory therapy, physical therapy, and pharmacy\n
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation using the Epic EHR system\n
  • Participate in call coverage and scheduled weekend rotations\n
