Outside Sales Representative

This role focuses on managing and growing relationships with existing customers who utilize inbound clean fill and earth-moving materials. The primary responsibility is account management, providing exceptional service, identifying opportunities within current accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction, while supporting our inbound material strategy in collaboration with aggregates, logistics, and sales teams. The position requires regular travel to the Parsippany, NJ office and monthly visits to tri-state operations, with vehicle reimbursement provided.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education / Experience Required High School Degree Ability to understand and apply State and US DOT rules and regulations.
Preferred 4-year college degree; or four to five-years related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience High level of proficiency with all Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
Strict adherence to safety requirements and company procedures as outlined in the Employee Handbook. Must be willing to travel and work away from home when required. Must be willing to work nights and weekends when required. Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) in designated areas as stated by OSHA and / or MSHA. Protective equipment that may be required, but not limited to, for this position is : Face Shield, Safety Glasses, Safety (hard toe) Shoes, Dust masks & Hearing Protection. Experience in customer service or regulations.
Knowledge of State and US DOT rules and regulations. Excellent computer skills and proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc. Able to work independently with attention to detail. Able to follow direction and work effectively in a team environment. Able to create (and work effectively in) a team environment. Able to respond to stressful situations and customers in a professional, courteous manner. Ability to effectively prioritize assignments to meet long-term and short-term deadlines. Excellent organizational skills. Able to write reports, document findings, and procedures, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Able to effectively communicate in verbal and written form to employees, management, executives. Able to identify, define and resolve problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Able to interpret an extensive variety of instructions in mathematical, written or oral form. Able to deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Ability to interpret written and oral instructions, and to read, analyze and interpret, operating & maintenance instruc Safety focus and understanding of Safety best practices.
