Job Quick Facts : Specialty : Cardiothoracic Surgery Job Type : Locum Tenens Facility Location : Marshfield, WI Service Setting : Inpatient / Outpatient Reason For Coverage : Supplemental Coverage Period : Dec 22-27, 2023 Coverage Type : Clinical Call Shift / Call Schedule : 24-hr Shifts; 7a-7a Call Type : Beeper Call Response Time : 15 mins Call Ratio : 1 : 1 Patient Volume : 8-10 (both IP / OP) Admissions Required : Yes Rounding Included : Yes Support Staff : 1 MA, 3 NP / PAs, 1 Office Staff Required Procedures : - General CV / thoracic surgery, Coronary artery bypass surgery - Congenital defects (ASD, VSD, PFO, etc) - Valvular and Aneurysm repair, Chest wall or pleural procedures - Permanent pacemaker placement, AICD (Automatic Internal Cardiac Defibrillator), Left ventricular assist devices - TAVR, CABG, Vent Management, Bronchoscopy - Eval. and mgmt of acute vol / BP issues - Insertion of (Central line, Arterial line, PA Catheter & IABP) - General Vascular surgery, Aneurysm repair - aorto-abdominal, Bypass procedures - aorto-femoral / iliac, Endarterectomy, Subclavian steal procedures.
