Primary Responsibilities

Set-up, adjusts, and operates paint guns, regulators, paint pumps, and pressure gages per work instructions, prints, D-sheet and / or production order specifications.

Properly load / unload parts on conveyor line with assistance of a lift truck (as necessary) per work instruction, prints, D-sheets and / or production order specifications.

Repair / rework parts to meet quality specifications using Bondo, rubbing compound and polishes per work instructions, prints, D-sheets, and / or productions order specifications.

Move materials using lift trucks, hoist and bridge crane.

Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.

Refill and dispose of empty paint barrels.

Notify Supervisor or Group Leader of any safety, quality or production issues as they occur.

Train operators as required.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Prior painting experience preferred

Must be able to read, understand drawings and production order travelers.

Must be able to listen, communicate and understand verbal instructions.

Must have organizational skills.

Must understand basic math, including decimals.

Must be able to remember, reason, and analyze.
