Facilities
Assist the Facilities Coordinator with daily laundry and keeping the laundry room neat and organized.Support Facilities Coordinator in ensuring consumable products (gloves, paper towels, toilet paper, etc.) are restocked in classrooms and adult bathrooms.Help Facilities Coordinator in daily tasks, such as : checking emergency lights, temperature checks throughout building, etc.Act in place of the Facilities Coordinator in the event of an absence.Kitchen
Assist Chef in plating and delivering food to classrooms and teacher loungeCollect used kitchen carts at the end of the evening and reset for the following day.Wash dishes, as needed.Unpack food order on Wednesdays, as needed.Double check expiration dates on food items, monthly.Act in place of Chef in the event of an absence.Food Handlers Certificate requiredAdministrative
Review opening and closing checklists and report status to Leadership Team.Make photocopies & deliver paperwork to classrooms.Shred paperwork, as needed.Assist Leadership Team in hanging monthly documentation.Cover front desk : answer phone, buzz door, check photo IDs of unknown visitors.Complete closing school checklist and lock up in the evening.Classroom
Deliver ice packs, incident reports, and accident reports, as needed.Assist classroom teachers in taking annual inventory.Cover lunch breaks for teaching staffCover bathroom breaks for teaching staff.Deliver replenishable materials to classroom (UPK kits, first aid kits, etc.)Act in place of a teacher in the event of an absence.Miscellaneous
Other duties and responsibilities as delegated by the Leadership Team that are deemed essential to the operation of the school.Required Qualifications and Experience
Food Handlers Certificate requiredHigh School Diploma requiredCPR / First Aid certification preferredPrevious teaching experience preferredKnowledge of the social, emotional and creative needs of young childrenMust be able to lift up to 35 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. Must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib.Employee must be at least 21 years of age.
