Route Supervisor

Job Summary

The Route Supervisor supervises route drivers in providing prompt, efficient and courteous service to all customers through utilization of routing system.

Essential Duties / Responsibilities

• Supervises, assigns and organizes driver routes ensuring route efficiency based on stops and route costs.
• Completes daily and weekly reports on tickets, manifests, costs, and routing. Responsible for new personnel interviewing, training, and education on proper procedures.
• Conducts accident investigations and reports findings to upper management.
• Manage and document driver safety meetings ensuring compliance with all company safety rules and regulations as well as federal, state and local regulations.
• Monitors driver hours and performance to maintain compliance with DOT regulations. Responsible for completing driver evaluations.
• Coordinates Mobile Wash Unit and Tank Delivery to customer's site including input and follow-up with Customer Service Representative.
• Maintain current customer accounts through personal and telephone contact ensuring quality service to each customer in coordination with Customer Service Representative.
• All other duties as assigned by management.
