Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Radiology

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen-week assignment without paying for the canceled hours.

Experience : Minimum 2 years required in Radiology; however, 18 months may suffice depending on unit exceptions.

License : Must have Illinois license in hand at the time of submission.

Certifications : ACLS and BLS required (AHA and Red Cross only; RQI cards not accepted)

Must-Have :

  • IV Therapy Skills / Experience, including assistance with Central Line Insertion / management, Implanted Ports Care and Maintenance, PICC Lines Care and Maintenance, Starting IVs.

Job Description :

  • Shift : Day, 4x10-Hour (07 : 00 - 17 : 30)
  • Will work weekends if needed by the department.
  • On-call as required by the department.
  • Floating is 100% required across the hospital and potentially to nearby affiliated hospitals.
  • Open to discussing scheduling requests with the manager.
  • Accommodation requests should be discussed with the manager; open to block schedule.
  • Orientation requires 16 non-billable hours.
  • Background and compliance procedures need timely completion.
  • Modules must be completed virtually on the first day by EOD, then annually.
  • Required to work 2 out of 3 major holidays.
  • Experience with Cerner charting system is required.
  • Not available to first-time applicants.
  • Locals accepted with no radius restrictions.
  • Reference submission with applications is needed.
  • Must secure housing and complete all compliance needs on time.
  • Flu vaccine is required, with medical / religious exemptions only. COVID-19 vaccine not required.
