Description :

This is a contract position for an RN in Labor and Delivery.

The role involves working from 7 : 00 PM to 7 : 00 AM.

No on-call requirements are necessary for this position.

The unit has 23 beds, including 12 labor and 11 postpartum rooms.

There are a total of 59 staff members on this unit.

Patient ratios are 1 : 2 in labor unless high risk, and up to 1 : 4 for couplets.

Equipment used includes Alaris Pumps, Giraffe Warmers, and GE Fetal Monitors.

The electronic medical records system utilized is GE Centricity / CPN & Meditech.

Candidates must possess a positive and friendly attitude.

The unit values a proactive approach and teamwork.

Navy blue scrubs are required for the role.

The unit has received recognition for nurse and physician engagement.
