Position Summary :
This highly visible role on our Sales Planning team will provide analytical and financial support to drive growth through our trade investment. You'll partner with IT to maintain the background data integrity in our trade promotion management system (TPM), Trade Promotion Optimization (TPO) system, and lead training and development of the sales team and other departments to ensure continuous improvement with trade promotion effectiveness and our TPM system.

This role will be based out of our Waltham, MA headquarters where you will be immersed in a dynamic workplace where innovation thrives and collaboration is key.
Our company in-office schedule is designed to maximize collaboration & relationship building balanced with flexibility and well-being with 3 days in-office and Thursdays / Friday being remote, flex days.
What You'll Do :
- Help lead and shape the fiscal volume & trade planning and trade optimization processes for the organization.
- Work with assigned members of the Sales Team to enter, maintain, and close promotional events.
- Review promotions to understand profitability and make recommendations to improve return on investments.
- Be first point of contact for Accounts Receivable to handle open deductions and missing contracts
- Assess new item slotting payouts as well as incremental promotional events using Welch's SIRF and TIRF process.
- Populate, track, and monitor trade initiatives as part of monthly processes, including but not limited to new item authorizations and slotting exposure and base pricing compliance
- Analyze customer sales and trade information to standardize and improve understanding of trade across the organization
- Develop customized presentations leveraging trade insights to improve customer implementation and execution and ensure compliance to Welch's guidelines
- Train cross-functional team members on trade promotion tools, processes and analytics
- Work with IT department to document data sources and processes to allow for automated and advanced analytics
Who You Are :
Exceptional analytical / assessment and problem-solving skillsStrong computer literacy and demonstrated working knowledge of Microsoft Office (especially Excel).Strong technical skills utilizing multiple internal / external data sources (syndicated and customer level data)Knowledge of Trade Promotion Management software toolsStrong listening and interpersonal skillsGood understanding of consumer products customers and channels (grocery / club / value / drug)Demonstrated ability to work well as part of a team but also has the ability to work independently (if / when required).High work capacity, dependable, results oriented with a strong sense of urgencyWhat You'll Need :
Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field requiredMinimum 3+ years of related experience in CPG, preferably with work history consisting of analytics, business development, category management and / or finance.Prior Trade Promotion Management experienceSome travel required (Less than 10%)Trade Promotion Optimization, Power BI, and / or Circana experience preferredWhat You'll Enjoy :

This range reflects the minimum and maximum for the position across all US locations, is based on a full-time work schedule, and is Welch's good faith estimate as of the date of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. In addition to base salary, this role is eligible for participation in a bonus plan.
