Senior Manager, FP&A Marketing & Digital
Location : Secaucus, New Jersey
Job Summary : The Senior Manager, FP&A Marketing & Digital will be responsible for the overall budgeting, forecasting, planning, and analysis for The Children's Place Marketing, Digital / ECOMM, Wholesale (Amazon), and International businesses. This leader will build, motivate, and develop a team of finance professionals to efficiently provide sound financial analysis that will affect decision-making throughout the business.
Responsibilities :
Key Accountabilities :
Partner with key leaders of the business including VP's of Marketing & Amazon, to deliver on company-wide strategic initiatives
Overall responsibility for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, planning, analysis, and internal business reporting
Manage marketing expenses to ensure the teams stay within the approved budget; identify any risk / opportunities to the business and communicate to management
Analyze business metrics related to the marketing department including ROAS
Consolidation and analysis of the full Amazon business P&L including components of Sales, Gross Margin, and Operating Income
Oversight of financial planning system implementation, maintenance, and enhancements to accurately consolidate, report, and provide meaningful analysis of multi-division results, forecasts, and business reviews
Serve as contact to Senior Leadership team regarding both the detail and overall context of these numbers with the ability to present information in an organized and confident fashion to executive management
Collaborate with other business functions to identify & execute on business enhancement opportunities
Lead a team of managers and analysts, delegating work & priorities and supporting career development
Proactively identify & execute on areas where process improvement is needed
Prepare weekly, monthly & quarterly reports and analyses
Prepare ad hoc reporting & analysis projects as needed
Responsible for strategic initiatives including :
Cost saving initiatives
Integrating acquisitions on a global basis
Creating business alignment between divisions
Education and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Economics
Masters and / or CPA preferred
5+ years experience in both an operational / divisional finance leadership role in a multi-divisional company
Significant experience in an FP&A role within a publicly traded, multi-national dynamic business
Background or significant knowledge of accounting beneficial
Experience working in a matrix environment strongly preferred
FP&A experience in corporate retail preferred
Must be highly motivated & able to operate at a high level amid a fast-paced & dynamic work culture
Comfortable offering an open & objective perspective to executive leadership
Ability to synthesize information across different areas of the business in order to be a thought partner with business leaders
Excellent communication skills verbal, written, and financial exhibits
Servant-leadership mentality, both in regard to business partners as well as direct reports
Must be proactive, detail oriented and a problem-solver intent on offering process improvement solutions
Skills and Behaviors :
Excellent analytical skills; experience integrating acquisitions helpful

Ability to uncover business problems / opportunities and to recommend effective solutions quickly
Excellent verbal and written skills and ability to communicate effectively, and gain respect of, executive management both in the finance and business operations groups
Results driven with an emphasis on innovation and effective change management
MS Office environment including Excel and Access and ability to translate and present reports effectively
Experience implementing and enhancing financial reporting systems such as Hyperion and / or Oracle
