Structural Engineer

Overview

DLR Group is an integrated design firm with a promise to elevate the human experience through design. The Engineering team has an opening for a Structural Engineer. Locations : Los Angeles, CA; San Francisco, CA; Riverside, CA.

Position Summary

As an Entry Level Structural Engineer at DLR Group you will participate in the design process of structural building systems from schematics through construction administration, prepare detailed structural engineering drawings and perform design calculations. You will work as part of integrated design teams to create buildings that elevate the human experience through design.

The successful candidate will

• Assist in developing project objectives, goals and documentation policies.
• Develop structural designs from concept through completion of construction.
• Prepare engineering design calculations and layouts.
• Prepare detailed engineering reports and narratives.
• Coordinate structural design requirements with architecture and other disciplines.
• Produce construction documents using Revit.
• Review shop drawings, RFIs and submittals.

As an Emerging Professional at DLR Group you will be part of the EPX program, which provides diverse perspectives on the needs of a design enterprise and opportunities for growth. You will hear from senior executives and integrated designers during this time.

Compensation is based on location, experience, and skills. The suggested pay range for this position is $69,000 - $108,000 USD.
