Orthopedic Surgery - Low-Volume Locums in New Mexico

Are you an Orthopedic Surgeon seeking a locums assignment with a manageable pace in New Mexico? An ongoing opportunity is available where you can provide essential coverage with a flexible commitment, allowing for an excellent work-life balance.

Highlights

  • Low patient volume of only 3 patients per shift
  • Provide coverage for only 7-14 shifts per month
  • Ongoing locums need for consistent assignments

Practice Setting

  • Inpatient coverage
  • Designated Level III Trauma site
  • Full support from RNs, MAs, and APPs

    • Schedule

  • Shift-based with beeper call responsibility
  • Call coverage is for assigned patients only
  • 30-minute call response time required

    • Cases

  • Focus on general orthopedic cases
  • Includes fracture and infection care

    • Requirements

  • Board Certified in Orthopaedic Surgery
  • Active New Mexico medical license
  • Required Certifications : ACLS, BLS, PALS, and ATLS

    • Credentialing Requirements

  • Streamlined credentialing in just 30 days
  • Dedicated support to assist with the process

    • Travel accommodations
