Job Title : Mechanical Assembler

Job Description

Join our team as a Mechanical Assembler where you will be responsible for the full assembly of propane fireplaces. You will utilize your skills with hand and power tools to expertly assemble frames and gas components, wiring, and attaching propane hoses. This role is integral to producing high-quality propane fire tables, ensuring each unit meets standards of functionality, safety, and aesthetics.

Responsibilities

  • Perform precise and efficient assembly of propane fire tables according to provided instructions, diagrams, and specifications.
  • Inspect components for defects, damage, or inconsistencies prior to assembly, ensuring only high-quality parts are used in the production process.
  • Maintain a keen eye for detail to identify any discrepancies or imperfections in the assembled units, promptly addressing and resolving issues to uphold product quality standards.
  • Assist in inventory management tasks, including tracking stock levels of assembly components, notifying relevant personnel of low supplies, and ensuring accurate inventory records to support uninterrupted production flow.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues, including proper handling of tools and equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with team members, including supervisors, fellow assemblers, and other departments, to streamline assembly processes, troubleshoot challenges, and meet production goals.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve assembly techniques, enhance productivity, and minimize waste without compromising quality.
  • Accurately record assembly activities, including any defects or deviations encountered during the process, to facilitate quality assurance and process improvement efforts.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the assembly area, including proper storage of tools, equipment, and materials, to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.

Essential Skills

  • 3+ years of mechanical assembly experience
  • 2+ years of experience in blueprint reading
  • 1+ year of experience with hand and power tools
  • Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • Proficiency in wiring and assembling propane components
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance
  • Experience with inventory management is a plus

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00 / hr.
