The Role

Our Warehouse Technician positions fill a critical need in FUJIFILM's chemical plant operations. They are responsible for shipping and receiving of hazardous chemicals according to all Quality and ISO 45001 standards. They must also follow all D.O.T and CFR 49 requirements.

Key responsibilities for this role include :

  • Serve as Warehouse Technician with the primary purpose of Forklift Operator
  • Select finished product from warehouse storage bins and place in staging areas to be loaded on a future date
  • Load finished product on trucks for delivery; unload product delivered to Mesa
  • Place product that has been delivered or manufactured in appropriate storage bins for availability upon request
  • Operate Forklift, Yard Tractor and trailer
  • Operate forklift and pallet jack for loading and unloading trailers, either individually or with assistance, must be able to lift or move up to 101 lbs.
  • Ensure that all shipping documentation (e.g., bills of lading, shipping orders or freight bills, etc.) required to move shipments is available for inspection and that appropriate paperwork accompanies shipment when delivered
  • Performs all duties in accordance with company policies and procedures
  • Adhere to all ISO standards and Operating Procedures to include Environmental Policies and Occupational Health and Safety Standards
  • Maintain excellent customer relations
  • Transfer product as requested to individual departments
  • Perform 5S housekeeping as required by SOP

Requirements

  • High school degree or GED required
  • 1 to 2 years of previous experience in Warehouse Dock Operations / Shipping required. 3 to 5 years of experience preferred
  • Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record.
  • Ability to work well with others at all levels of the organization
  • Must be able to lift / push up to 101 pounds.
  • Ability to work additional hours and some weekends will be required
  • Forklift experience (stand up lift preferable)
  • D.O.T. 49 CFR and IMDG experience with Hazardous Materials preferred
  • This is a safety-sensitive position that requires candidates to successfully pass a post-offer drug screening prior to employment. One of the essential job functions is the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
