• We are hiring immediately for a full time COOK position.
• Location : Valley Baptist Medical Center - 1040 West Jefferson Street, Brownsville, TX 78520. Note : online applications accepted only.
• Schedule : Full time schedule; Wednesday, 11 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm, and Thursday through Saturday, 5 : 00 am to 5 : 00 pm. More details upon interview.
• Requirement : Prior food service experience is required.
• Fixed Pay Rate : $13.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary : Prepares food in accordance with applicable federal, state and corporate standards, guidelines and regulations with established policies and procedures. Ensures quality food service is provided at all times.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

The use of a medium weight cut gloves when handling or using knives, peelers, choppers, mandolins or cleaning a slicer.
