Location : New York, NY 10025

Schedule : Night Shift or Day | 3x12s | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM | 7am - 7 : 30pm / Every Other Weekend Required

Duration : 13-Week Contracts

Pay Rate : $55 / hr (W2)

MD-Staffing Healthcare is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) with Med Surg experience to join one of New York City’s most prestigious hospital systems . This is a high-impact night shift contract offering competitive pay and the opportunity to work with a collaborative, patient-focused team on a leading 6W Medicine Unit.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver evidence-based , compassionate nursing care on a high-volume Medical-Surgical floor

Assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Document accurately and efficiently using EPIC EMR

Educate patients and families on care, recovery, and discharge planning

Uphold safety, compliance, and clinical excellence standards

Qualifications

Active NY State RN License

BLS Certification (Required)

Minimum 2 years of Med Surg hospital experience

EPIC experience strongly preferred

BSN preferred (Associates accepted with BSN in progress)

Must be available for night shifts and every other weekend rotation

Unit : 6W Medicine Unit

Bed Count : 29 Beds | Avg. Census : 22 Patients

Nurse-Patient Ratio : 1 : 6
