Key Responsibilities of the Occupational Therapist Assistant :
Implement treatment plans designed by occupational therapists
Assist patients in regaining or improving daily living and work skills
Provide therapeutic exercises and activities to promote functional independence
Document patient progress and communicate updates to the occupational therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on adaptive techniques and equipment use
Requirements :
Active OTA license in Massachusetts
Minimum 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
Current BLS certification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
