Program Overview : Lexington's Intern Program is intended to attract undergraduate and graduate college students who are studying Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields. You will be given the opportunity to meaningfully contribute to the progress of Lexington and its products, while gaining business acumen and real-world experience which will better prepare you to continue to make impactful contributions throughout your career.
Successful candidates will gain hands-on, meaningful experience with mechanical and process design, common manufacturing processes, and engineering testing. This program will give students real-world exposure to product development and manufacturing within the medical device industry. Students will gain experience with regulatory body standards and proper documentation, vital for the continued career of the student.
Education : Must be currently attending an accredited university as an undergraduate or graduate majoring in Mechanical Engineering, or similar technical disciplines.
Timing : January 2026 – June 2026 (6-month Co-Op)
Location : Bedford, Massachusetts – This is a fully onsite role, 5 days per week.
Experience : Prior internship, co-op, or relevant project experience in engineering or manufacturing is required. We are seeking students entering their senior year (or graduate-level students).
