As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols and remaining visible throughout a financial institution environment. What You'll Do : Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and respond to emergency situations as appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, following established protocols. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to monitor for potential security-related concerns and help to deter unwanted activity. Observe and report any irregularities or suspicious activities encountered during patrols within the financial institution location. Communicate clearly and promptly with Allied Universal management and / or local law enforcement as needed during incidents. Document and maintain thorough records of daily activities, incidents, and interactions in accordance with Allied Universal and client policies. Assist in access control by monitoring entry and exit points and verifying identification when required. Minimum Requirements : At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Loss prevention experience is preferred. Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred. Alarm panel experience is preferred. Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
