Job Summary and Responsibilities

Plural Studio seeks a landscape designer or landscape architect to join our collaborative team. In this role, you will take ownership of key project components—developing detailed graphic drawings and design documentation that communicate clear, compelling concepts. You’ll coordinate directly with clients, contractors, and consultants including architects, engineers, MEP, irrigation, and joint trench teams, to ensure alignment and technical accuracy throughout the design process. You’ll be responsible for integrating existing site features into resilient, context-sensitive designs, while analyzing conditions such as drainage and grading to inform planning decisions.

Additional responsibilities include overseeing construction quality through site inspections, managing subcontractors, and evaluating materials and installations to ensure they meet design intent. You may also represent the studio in presenting plans to public stakeholders, including community groups and government agencies. This role is ideal for someone who brings strong design thinking, technical know-how, and the ability to confidently and carefully navigate complex, multi-partner projects.
