Med / Surg RN Job Details

Location : Saginaw, MI 48607 (Michigan travel nursing job)

Healthcare Setting : Medical / Oncology Unit (Medical-Surgical, Observation, Hospice, Oncology patients)

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse (RN)

Start Date : November 10, 2025

End Date : February 9, 2026

Contract Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 15am)

Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed

Weekend / Holiday : Every other weekend / holiday required

On-Site Position

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1680 - $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Michigan RN license required

Minimum 2 years of recent Med / Surg nursing experience

Med / Surg Observation experience required

Recent travel nursing experience highly preferred

BLS certification (AHA) required

Current skills checklist (within 1 year, relevant to medical-surgical specialty)

2 supervisory reference forms (within last 2 years)

Med / Surg RN Responsibilities

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care in accordance with hospital policies and nursing best practices

Document comprehensive nursing assessments and develop patient-centered care plans

Update and modify care plans based on ongoing patient evaluation

Delegate and supervise patient care tasks to unit staff

Deliver compassionate care to diverse patient populations, including oncology, observation, hospice, and medical-surgical patients

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to achieve optimal patient outcomes
