Job description

American Traveler is seeking a dedicated School Speech-Language Pathologist (CCC-SLP) for a full-time or part-time role at a vibrant and arts-focused school environment, serving preschool to 8th grade students.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Work in a single-site school setting with students from preschool through 8th grade.
  • Full-time position consists of 37.5 hours / week, while part-time is 22.5 hours / week.
  • Manage a current caseload of approximately 45 students for full-time, and around 20 for part-time roles.
  • Maintain a work schedule from Monday to Friday, 7 : 30am to 3 : 30pm, with a half-hour unpaid lunch.
  • Support a diverse student body within a dynamic visual and performing arts-focused learning environment.
  • Address students' communication and language needs as part of a creative school program.
  • Collaborate with school teams to enhance student learning and development.
  • No references required for initial consideration.
  • This position is assigned for the 2025-2026 school year.
  • All candidates must complete required credentials and obtain a teaching certificate before starting.

Qualifications :

  • Current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is mandatory.
  • Active SLP license in Colorado is required.
  • Colorado Department of Education certificate must be obtained prior to start date.
