The schedule includes specified coverage dates spanning from November to December, with night call responsibilities. Key Details Assignment Type : Locum Tenens Setting : Hospital Start Date : November 24, 2025 Schedule : Coverage Periods : 11 / 24 (8 : 00 AM) - 12 / 1 (8 : 00 AM) and 12 / 22 (8 : 00 AM) - 12 / 29 (8 : 00 AM) Night call starts at 5 : 00 PM and ends at 8 : 00 AM the following day Patient Population : Adult Location : Marquette, MI Stipends : Housing and travel options can be discussed for non-local candidates Benefits Weekly direct deposit Malpractice insurance with tail coverage Supportive credentialing assistance Lodging and mileage reimbursement (if applicable) Flexible scheduling (optional if applicable) Job Responsibilities Collaborate with a team of APPs for patient consultations and care management Participate in tabletop rounds and physically round on complex cases Manage patient consultations and oversee care provided by APPs Coverage for STEMI cases and coordinate with interventional cardiologist Handle night call duties as per rotation schedule Qualifications Must have an active Michigan medical license and clean background for emergency privileges Board Certification required Fellowship in Interventional Cardiology preferred No additional certification requirements Working Hours Monday-Friday : 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM (or until tasks are completed) Night call : 5 : 00 PM - 8 : 00 AM Weekend coverage as scheduled Skills Proficient in managing cardiac consultations and follow-up care Capable of conducting TEE procedures if necessary Strong teamwork skills and ability to work collaboratively with APPs and hospital teams Effective communication and patient interaction skills
