Position :

  • Automotive Service Advisor Service Advisor Compensation : $40,000-$110,000 (based on knowledge and experience) Schedule : 5 day work week Location : Basil Resale Sheridan- 4131 Sheridan Dr.
  • Williamsville, NY  The Service Advisor serves as the primary point of contact between customers and the service department.
  • This role involves understanding customer needs, advising on vehicle repairs and maintenance, and ensuring that all work is performed efficiently and to the highest standards.
  • The Service Advisor plays a crucial role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving repeat business.

Responsibilities :

  • Customer Interaction : Greet customers promptly and courteously, both in person and over the phone.  Listen to customer concerns and gather detailed information about vehicle issues and maintenance needs.
  • Clearly explain the recommended services and repairs, providing accurate estimates for labor, parts, and time.

    • Service Coordination :

  • Schedule service appointments and coordinate with the service team to ensure timely completion of work.
  • Maintain clear communication with customers throughout the repair process, providing updates on the status of their vehicles.
  • Review completed work with customers, explaining any additional repairs or services that were needed.

    • Sales :

  • Identify opportunities to add additional services or maintenance based on vehicle inspection results and manufacturer recommendations.
  • Explain the benefits of preventive maintenance and additional services to help customers make informed decisions.

    • Documentation and Compliance :

  • Prepare accurate repair orders by documenting customer information, vehicle details, and the specific services to be performed.
  • Ensure all services are documented correctly and that invoices are accurate before presenting them to the customer.
  • Stay informed about warranty policies and ensure that any covered repairs are handled according to manufacturer guidelines.

    • Customer Satisfaction :

  • Resolve any customer concerns or complaints in a professional and timely manner.
  • Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
  • Participate in customer satisfaction initiatives, such as follow-up calls, surveys, and loyalty programs.

    • Collaboration :

  • Work closely with technicians to ensure accurate diagnosis and efficient service delivery.
  • Communicate with the parts department to ensure timely availability of necessary parts.

    • Requirements :

  • 2 years' experience working as a Service Advisor in a dealership.

    • The ability to problem solve, communicate effectively and work in a team setting Valid Driver License is required Basil Benefits :
