Commercial Electrical Estimator - Cedar Rapids, IA

Electrical Concepts  - established for over 23 years in the Cedar Rapids area - seeks a  humble, hungry, and smart  Commercial Electrical Estimator who understands that relationships drive business success and wants to help us grow.

The Right Person :

HUMBLE  - You listen more than you talk, learn from every project, and aren't too proud to ask questions.

HUNGRY  - You actively pursue opportunities, follow up persistently, and take ownership of growing our win rate.

SMART  - You understand both the technical and business sides, communicating effectively with everyone from apprentices to CEOs.

What You'll Do :

• Prepare accurate estimates for diverse commercial projects - multi-family housing, office buildings, manufacturing, medical / dental, and more
• Build strong relationships with GCs throughout Cedar Rapids and surrounding areas
• Review plans, conduct site visits, and develop winning bids across multiple sectors
• Help select and implement estimating software to modernize our processes
• Work with our skilled electrical team for seamless estimate-to-execution handoffs
• Track and analyze results to continuously improve win rates

What We're Looking For :

Proven electrical estimating experience with documented success  - show us your win rates, estimate accuracy, and GC relationships that resulted in repeat business.
