$17.00 / hour
Shifts :
Monday - Friday 8 : 30 AM - 4 : 30 PM with observed holidays off per COMHAR policy :
The ID-Day Program offers services that are provided in both facility and community-based settings for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, as well as those with intensive physical health needs (wheelchair, tube feeding, catheters, colostomy). Must have excellent verbal / written communication skills and work well with people; good, creative problem solving skills; ability to work independently, and be flexible / adaptive in handling changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment; computer skills required.
Responsibilities and Job Duties :
- Implement meaningful community and facility based activities.
- Provide transportation for consumers to access community training activities in agency vehicle or public transportation.
- Immediately report any site or consumer related crisis or unusual incident to supervisor.
- Complete required daily program notes for assigned consumers, enter documentation on a timely basis as required.
Physical Demands :
Required to sit; stand, maintain balance; occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds. Vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception & ability to adjust optical focus for reading, driving, general observation and for all safety needs.

Qualifications and Experience :
High School Diploma (or GED)Current PA Driver's License; satisfactory driving record; eligible to operate program vehicles.One year of related experience in an IDD service, program or related experience.We are proud to be an EEO employer M / F / D / V.
