As the Head of Engineering – EMS (North America) , you will lead the U.S.-based engineering function, overseeing all New Product Introduction (NPI) engineering activities for high-quality consumer and data center electronic products. You will be responsible for guiding multi-disciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, validation, and failure analysis engineering functions, while working closely with customers and manufacturing factories.

This is a strategic leadership role at the intersection of product innovation, engineering execution, and manufacturing readiness—ideal for a seasoned engineering leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-impact environments.
- Lead the end-to-end design, development, and validation of electrical and electro-mechanical systems for consumer electronics.
- Build, mentor, and scale multi-functional NPI engineering teams across electrical, mechanical, product design, test, and reliability disciplines.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including R&D, supply chain, and factory operations to ensure manufacturability, cost-efficiency, and quality.
- Partner with business development and customer teams to translate client requirements into executable technical plans.
- Support prototype development, pilot builds, and seamless transition into mass production.
- Oversee root-cause analysis, failure diagnostics, and corrective actions to ensure long-term product reliability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across engineering processes and tools.
- Strong foundation in electrical engineering with a broad understanding of product design, testing methodologies, and system integration.
- Proven ability to lead cross-disciplinary engineering teams in a high-growth, dynamic environment.
- Strategic thinker with a hands‑on mindset and the ability to align engineering execution with business goals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to drive collaboration across global teams and customers.
- Demonstrated track record of delivering complex products from concept through high-volume manufacturing.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline.10+ years of experience in electrical / hardware engineering, with significant exposure to new product development and EMS environments.Proficiency in hardware system design, schematic capture, PCB layout, reliability testing, and debugging.Hands‑on lab skills including use of oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, and other diagnostic tools.Familiarity with global EMS / ODM ecosystems and manufacturing workflows, including DFM, DFT, and ramp readiness.Experience working with consumer electronics or data center hardware products is a strong plus.Seniority level
