System Engineer - Information Technology Services

This position is responsible for the planning and engineering of an organization's systems infrastructure. Includes the implementation and design of hardware and software. Monitors the performance of systems. Installs new software releases and system upgrades, evaluates and installs patches, and resolves software related problems. Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configuration to ensure data integrity. Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Works under general supervision. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager.

Responsibilities :

• Desktop & Application Virtualization :

Design, deploy, and manage Citrix Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), DaaS, and Virtual Apps environments, ensuring optimal performance and user experience.

Design, deploy, and manage VMware & VXRail environments, ensuring infrastructure performance and scalability.

Manage and monitor enterprise systems, including Azure, NetApp, Rubrik, Microsoft 365 stack, and data center infrastructure.

Monitor system performance and identify potential bottlenecks.

Provide tier 2 / 3 technical support to users and junior ITS team members on various system and application issues.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.
