UNIT DOES NOT ACCEPT FIRST TIME TRAVELER Outpatient Therapy Clinic Must be comfortable with children with autism and with families of children w / autism Visits / Day : 8 Rooms : 8 Documentation System : EPIC (REQUIRED) Patient Diagnoses neurodevelopmental challenges developmental delay expressive language delay receptive language delay stuttering articulation autism ADHD behavioral challenges complications from prematurity SKILLS Work Settings - Peds Outpatient (REQUIRED) - Children's Hospital, Home Health Care, Peds Rehab Facility (preferred) Adult - Fluency; Mental, Behavioral, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (REQUIRED) - Dysphagia (preferred) Pediatric - Autism, Birth Defects, Developmental Delays, Fluency, Language Disorders; Mental, Behavioral, and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (REQUIRED) - Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Hearing Impairments, Sign Language, Voice (preferred) Adaptive Equipment - Alternative Communication Devices, Communication Board (REQUIRED) - Augmentative Communication (preferred) Dysphagia Management - Bedside Swallow Evaluation, Compensatory Strategies, Conducting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, International Dysphagia Diet, Interpreting Modified Barium Swallow Studies, Oral Motor, Thickening Agents (preferred) Patient Safety - Signs & Symptoms of Physical, Sexual, Psychological abuse (REQUIRED) Other Professional Skills & Knowledge - Patient / Family Education (REQUIRED) Evaluation Tools - CELF (Clinical Evaluation of Language Fundamentals), Non-Evaluative Screening Tools, PLS-4 (Preschool Language Scale), Rossetti Infant-Toddler Language Scale ( REQUIRED) Billing / Documentation - Assessment, Concurrent Therapy : Documentation, Concurrent Therapy : Treatment, Discharge, Evaluation, Medicaid, Plan of Care, Reassessments, SLP Evaluation Coding (REQUIRED) - Point of Service Documentation (preferred) Certifications / Licenses BLS CCC-SLP State Licensed
