The OR Endoscopy Technician is responsible to coordinate and implement the endoscopy maintenance / cleaning program for Peri-Operative Services and provides back up to Central Processing Department as needed.

Essential Generic Job Functions (List in order of importance) :

• Maintains endoscopy equipment.
• Transfers equipment using proper body mechanics.
• Assists Central Processing Department as needed and performs the role of 7385 Central supply Technician as needed.
• Maintains performance improvement measures for endoscopy in Perioperative Department.
• Identifies the needs of the patient population served and modifies and delivers care that is specific to those needs (i.e., age, culture, language, hearing and or visual impaired, etc.) This process includes communicating with the patient, parent and / or primary caregiver at their level (developmental / age, educational, literacy, etc.)
• Adheres to the standard identified in the Medical Center's Organizational Competencies.
• Gets competency tool completed when learning a new modality.

Compensation Minimum rate of $20.32 Hourly HMH is committed to pay equity and transparency for our team members.
