Designer / Drafter

A growing and innovative company in Claremore, OK is looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Designer / Drafter to join their team. In this role, you’ll transform engineering sketches and notes into precise technical drawings used in production, ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.

This is a full-time, in-office position offering a structured weekly schedule, early Friday dismissal when work is completed, and the opportunity to work on a variety of technical projects within a supportive team environment.

Pay Range : $28–$32 / hour (+Depending on Experience)

Schedule : Monday–Thursday, 8 : 00 AM–5 : 00 PM; Friday, 8 : 00 AM–3 : 00 PM (early out on Fridays when weekly work is completed)

Key Responsibilities :

The CAD Drafter is responsible for preparing detailed structural drawings—including dimensions, fastening methods, and other essential engineering details—using AutoCAD and SolidWorks. The role plays a key part in translating technical concepts into clear, accurate, and actionable production plans.

• Create and revise detailed CAD drawings using AutoCad and Solidworks.
• Translate engineering sketches and specifications into complete design documents.
• Calculate dimensions, weights, capacities, and other technical data using mathematical formulas.
• Ensure all project folders and design documentation are current and organized.
• Issue final production drawings, job packets, and CNC data to relevant departments.
• Follow standard drafting policies and quality control procedures.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and documentation teams to meet project deadlines.
