Key Responsibilities of the Travel Cath Lab Technologist

Perform and assist with diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures

Operate and maintain imaging and monitoring equipment within safety standards

Provide technical support to physicians during complex cardiovascular procedures

Prepare and educate patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and understanding

Accurately document procedures and maintain patient records

Collaborate with cardiologists, nurses, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes

Requirements of the Travel Cath Lab Technologist

ACLS and BLS certifications (required)

Certified Cardiac Interventional Rad Tech – ARRT (CI) verification (required)

2+ years of cath lab experience

Strong knowledge of interventional cardiology procedures, imaging protocols, and patient care
