Physician Assistant-AFC Urgent Care (Torrance)

Duties:

• Provide high quality patient care with the scope of PA.
• Manage all patient care while on shift.
• Supervise staff while on shift.
• Ensure all charts are filled out and medical records are completed in a timely fashion.
• Process biological specimens when needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Position Details:

• Per Diem opportunity.
• Energetic, self-starter who can work independently and contribute to team environment.
• Feel comfortable in a range of settings: small group office and large group organizational setting.
• Flexibility in shifts to develop and manage patient panel,
• Board Certified/Board Eligible - Emergency Room, Family Practice, or Internal Medicine is a plus but not required.
• Excellent communicator with staff, patients, and family.
• Professional appearance and attitude.
• Active and current medical licensure in state of practice.
• Active and current DEA number and state-controlled substance certificate, as needed.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently'

Pay: $65.00 - $80.00 per hour
