Registered Vascular Sonographer - (Sonography - Sono)

Pay Rate : $2148.25 - $2353.93

• JOB REQUIRES IN-PERSON INTERVIEW W / NO GUARANTEE OF OFFER, AT THE EXPENSE OF THE CLINICIAN

The Vascular Sonographer II position is an experienced sonographer who completes a variety of routine to advanced non-invasive vascular sonograms to include, where applicable, transcranial Doppler (TCD). A member of the direct patient care team, this position is fully competent in all aspects of ultrasound exams, vascular pathology and physiology and serves as a mentor to Technologist I's and students by utilizing skills and knowledge to help train and educate others. The Vascular Sonographer II position works independently exercising sound judgment and executing above average clinical skills on challenging diagnostic procedures and patient care situations. This position provides direct assistance to physicians with all diagnostic / special procedures and delivers exceptional patient care and adheres to sonography standards and guidelines established by radiology agencies to ensure optimal patient safety and customer service.

Interview will include a phone screen then candidate will need to go on site for a carotid scan trial. This is required.

RVS Cert (CCI) or ARRT-VS

RVT Cert PREFERRED (ARDMS)

BLS

Candidate must have 4+yrs of experience with :

Scanning TCD's

Complex cases such as fistulas and grafts

Required Qualifications

Sonographer, Vascular

Certifications : RVS(Copy needed); VS(Copy needed); BLS(Copy needed)
