Comprehensive knowledge of emergency nursing practices, pre-hospital care, and relevant regulations. Ability to work effectively under pressure, make sound decisions, and manage a demanding workload.

Key Responsibilities :
- Provide strategic leadership to the Emergency Department team, fostering a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.
- Ensure adherence to all regulations and standards to maintain a safe and efficient department.
- Oversee the hospital's trauma program, ensuring compliance with state requirements for trauma designation.
- Manage the department budget, effectively allocating resources and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
- Encourage a culture of continuous improvement aimed at enhancing the quality and efficiency of care delivery.
- Work collaboratively with other departments and stakeholders to ensure seamless patient care and efficient hospital operations.
- Engage in recruitment, onboarding, and professional development initiatives for Emergency Department staff.
