Job Summary

Emergency Medicine physicians (ABEM, FP, IM, or Surgery-trained) needed for locum coverage

Assignment length : minimum 6 months

Two full-time physicians needed; minimum 6 shifts per month

ED volume : 28,900 annually (approx. 78 patients per day)

12 ED beds

Shifts : 7a7p and 7p7a for MDs

NP / PA coverage 24 hours / day with staggered shifts

If not ABEM certified, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, and BLS are required

Residency completion required

Credentialing Requirements

Active Texas medical license

ABEM, AOBEM, ABFM, ABIM accepted (ABPS not accepted)

Credentialing timeframe : ~60 days

No expedited privileging available

Flu or other immunizations required (waiver considered)

Orientation and EMR training required
