Reference # : R-93684 WasteConnections has an immediate opening for a Scale Attendant to join the team at our landfill in Bethlehem PA. Schedule - Monday through Friday 5 : 45 AM to 3 : 30 PM / Every other Saturday 6 : 45 AM to 12 : 00 PM. As a Scale Attendant with us the minimum responsibilities are : Greet and direct all customers and employees upon entry of the transfer station. Track weight information from scale to computer system and get appropriate signatures. Calculate payments for customers. Closing duties include balancing cash drawer, as well as reconciling the credit card machine or POS system. Ensure incoming garbage loads are safe and do not contain any inappropriate material. Approach all encounters with employees, customers, and vendors in a friendly, service-oriented manner.

What we need from you : Excellent customer service skills. Ability to multi-task in a fast paced work environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel. Must have flexible availability to include weekends.
