What you will be responsible for :
- Leading software engineering teams to successfully deliver comprehensive software products from the initial concept to deployment for millions of drivers worldwide.
- Mentoring and advancing the careers of software engineers by providing ongoing performance feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Collaborating closely with cross-functional partners, including Digital Product and Digital Design teams, to develop and deliver high-quality features centered on customer needs.
- Reviewing product designs and architectures with a software engineering perspective, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring alignment with engineering best practices.
- Continuously optimizing the engineering delivery pipeline to accelerate cycle times while enhancing quality and security.
- Utilizing advanced concepts and principles to drive multi-disciplinary innovations and address complex business challenges.
- Developing and promoting new engineering practices to enhance organizational growth and effectiveness.
- Providing strategic insights and knowledge across various teams to foster collaboration and eliminate knowledge silos.
- Encouraging a culture of learning and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
- Identifying and evaluating emerging products and technologies that can enhance our offerings.
Qualifications :
An undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience.Over 6 years of professional experience, including more than 4 years in hands-on software engineering focused on mobile applications.A minimum of 2 years in a leadership position, effectively managing teams and delivering software products to market.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong ability to influence at all levels of the organization.If you feel you're a great fit for this role, we encourage you to apply, even if your background doesn't exactly match all the qualifications described.
