- Salary range : $200,000 - $300,000 per year
- Compensation is based on education, qualifications, and experience and may change based on internal and external factors
Position Details
Diagnose and treat acute and chronic conditions, manage work restrictions, and support safe return-to-work plansConduct and interpret OSHA, DOT, fitness-for-duty, and return-to-work examsOrder labs, imaging, and referrals; prescribe medications as necessaryPerform minor procedures such as wound care and foreign body removalCommunicate treatment plans, test results, and follow-up instructions to patients, employers, and clinical staffEnsure a smooth patient flow by coordinating with clinical staff and minimizing wait timesMaintain accurate, timely documentation in patient records and EMRProvide support and supervision to clinical staff, including Physician Assistants, as neededRespond effectively to emergencies and perform stabilization when requiredUphold HIPAA compliance, infection control, and safety protocolsJob duties may change to meet clinic needsPosition Requirements
Strong analytical and clinical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-orientedCollaboration skillsEthical conductThoroughnessMD or DO with unrestricted California licenseDOT certification required (or must obtain within 30 days of employment)BCLS, CPR, and AED certified; DEA and California drug licensesKnowledge of OSHA, DOT regulations, and EMR experienceExperience in occupational medicine strongly preferred
