- Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
- Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 00am), every other weekend and holiday, with unpaid lunch\n
- Estimated Weekly Salary : $2100 - $2250\n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing\n
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Massachusetts\n
- Minimum 2 years of recent Emergency Room RN experience\n
- At least 1 year of ER travel nursing experience preferred\n
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications\n
- Successful completion of hospital pharmacology and basic arrhythmia exams\n
- Proficient in IV administration, IV starts, ventilator care, and telemetry monitoring\n
- Strong communication skills in English\n
- Completion of an approved de-escalation certification course preferred\n
- TNCC, ENPC, and PALS certifications preferred\n\nER RN Responsibilities\n
- Provide patient care using the nursing process : assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation\n
- Administer medications and monitor patient responses\n
- Direct and guide patient care, teaching, and activities of ancillary healthcare personnel\n
- Maintain accurate and current patient records and clinical documentation\n
- Develop and communicate individualized patient care plans, including discharge planning\n
- Serve as charge nurse and resource for ER staff as needed\n
- Participate in unit staff meetings, mandatory programs, and ongoing professional development\n
- Adhere to hospital safety and infection control policies and procedures\n
- Represent the hospital positively within the Hyannis community and maintain patient confidentiality\n
- Deliver excellent service to patients, families, and colleagues in the emergency department\n
