HonorVet Technologies is seeking a travel Radiation Therapist for a travel job in Lubbock, Texas.

Title : Radiation Therapist

Location : Lubbock, TX

Duration : 13 weeks.

Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (Monday-Thursday 8am-5pm and Fridays 8am-3pm)

Job Responsibilities :

  • Deliver radiation therapy treatments across multiple modalities including brachytherapy, EBRT, SBRT, SRS, and FSRT.
  • Rotate through all treatment modalities and equipment, including simulation with contrast / motion management orders.
  • Operate advanced equipment such as Elekta Linear Accelerators (Infinity and VersaHD), Gamma Knife ICON, HDR Flexitron, C-arm fluoroscopy, and GE Discovery CT / Simulator.
  • Utilize Elekta Mosaiq Record & Verify System and Epic EMR.
  • Provide care for both adult and pediatric patients, with a daily census of 40–45 patients.
  • Collaborate within a strong interdisciplinary team in a Children’s Hospital / Level II Pediatric Trauma Center.

    • Job Requirements :

  • Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.
  • Valid Texas state license.
  • Certifications required : ARRT (R), BLS and TMB license.
  • Teaching hospital experience preferred.
  • Schedule : Monday–Thursday 8 : 00 AM – 5 : 00 PM, Friday 8 : 00 AM – 3 : 00 PM.
  • Patient ratio : 1 RT to 20 patients.
  • Must commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays if contract overlaps.
