Job description

Overview

CDL-A - Regional Van Truckload truck driver role at Class A Drivers. Regional runs with a high volume of freight and mostly no-touch, drop-and-hook freight.

Responsibilities

  • Predictable power lanes with a high volume of freight.
  • Consistent freight allows for maximum drive time and less down time.
  • Dispatched in advance, allowing for improved planning.
  • 95% no-touch, mostly drop-and-hook freight.
  • Drive within the Eastern 37 states.

Pay and Schedule

  • Average pay : $1,060-$1,300 weekly.
  • Home time : Every other week.
  • Schedule : FULLTIME.
  • Sign On Bonus : $6,000, paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year for experienced drivers.
  • Sign On Bonus : $3,000, paid over 12 monthly payments in the first year for inexperienced drivers.
  • Mileage pay, plus hourly pay while on duty (not driving).
  • Weekly performance pay.
  • Paid orientation.
  • Paid time off after 6 months, plus 6 days of holiday pay per year.
  • Annual bonus : Earn up to 2% of annual gross pay each year.

    • Qualifications

  • Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
  • Valid Commercial Learner's Permit (if interested in company-paid CDL training).
  • HazMat endorsement preferred.
  • Passport, FAST card or Enhanced CDL opens more opportunities.
